Movado’s Artist Series reflects a legacy of over four decades of partnerships with some of the world’s most esteemed artists, including Andy Warhol, James Rosenquist, and Carmen Herrera. With Derrick Adams joining this illustrious roster, Movado continues its tradition of crafting wearable works of art. This limited-edition collection showcases Adams’ distinct artistic style, combining his mastery of texture and passion for colour with Movado’s signature Museum Dial.

He has held solo exhibitions at prestigious institutions, including The Cleveland Museum of Art, The Momentary, and the Museum of Arts and Design. The collection comprises five uniquely designed watches, with 125 individually numbered pieces of each design. For collectors, 25 complete sets are available, making these timepieces highly coveted.

For the first time in Movado’s Artist Series history, this collaboration extends beyond wristwatches to include gallery-worthy wall clocks. Two of the five watch designs were reimagined as wall clocks, with 125 of each available for purchase. This innovative extension highlights Adams’ vision of art as a dynamic, multi-dimensional experience.
To honour the partnership, Derrick Adams and Movado donated five collector sets and 20 of each wall clock to the Studio Museum of Harlem. This gesture reflects their shared commitment to fostering art appreciation and cultural enrichment.
