ZOTAC GAMING is excited to introduce the ZOTAC GAMING ZONE, a state-of-the-art PC gaming handheld, at Gamescom 2024. The ZONE, set to begin preorders in select regions and online platforms, was first teased at COMPUTEX 2024 and is now ready to deliver a top-tier gaming experience.
GAME IN THE ZONE
The ZOTAC GAMING ZONE sets a new standard as the first handheld PC to incorporate premium hardware and advanced controls, distinguishing itself from other devices in the market. Powered by AMD’s Ryzen 7 8840U processor with cutting-edge Zen 4 architecture and RDNA™ 3 graphics, the ZONE supports AAA gaming at native 1080p resolution. It is equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5X-7500 Memory, a 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD, and a UHS-II microSD card reader, catering to all storage needs.
The handheld features a 7-inch Full HD AMOLED display, an industry first for handheld PCs. This display features deep blacks, a wide colour gamut, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 800nits of brightness, ensuring vivid and smooth visuals for an immersive gaming experience.

The ZOTAC GAMING ZONE enhances gameplay with a range of advanced control features:
- Hall Effect Sensors: Triggers and Analog Sticks use hall-effect sensors to improve precision and prevent drift.
- 2-Stage Adjustable Triggers: Offers gamers the choice between rapid fire with short-travel hair triggers or full control with traditional analog triggers.
- Radial Dials: Allows adjustment of system settings with a single twist without interrupting gameplay.
- Dual Trackpads: Provides alternative control options for desktop navigation and mouse-heavy PC games.
These features aim to provide gamers with superior control and performance, enhancing their competitive edge. The device also includes a full-sized gamepad, rear twin macro buttons, and a D-Pad with clicky microswitches for responsive feedback.

Designed for comfort, the ZOTAC GAMING ZONE has a stable, balanced grip and symmetrical button layouts for extended use. It includes two full-speed USB4 Ports for file transfer and rapid charging, along with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 for high-speed internet connectivity and additional accessory support. The handheld also features a front-facing camera, microphone, and a fingerprint reader power button for secure Windows Hello login.
ACCESSORIES AND BUNDLES
ZOTAC GAMING is also introducing two accessories with the ZONE: a docking station with a range of ports and an interface for additional NVMe SSD storage, transforming the handheld into a desktop; and a carrying case with extra storage to protect the ZONE on the go. Each ZOTAC GAMING ZONE will come with a free one-month Xbox Game Pass trial, allowing gamers to dive straight into a wide array of games.
EXPERIENCE THE ZONE AT GAMESCOM 2024
From August 21 to 23, visitors at Gamescom 2024 in Cologne, Germany, will be the first to experience the ZOTAC GAMING ZONE. ZOTAC GAMING, in partnership with Be Quiet!, will showcase the handheld along with its graphics cards and ZBOX Mini-PC lineup. Attendees can test the ZONE’s AMOLED display and controls and have a chance to win a unit at hall 10.1, booth A-078.
