Celebrity alcohol brands have seen a significant rise in popularity in recent years. According to SOMM TV, the number of such brands surged from fewer than 40 in 2018 to 350 in 2022—a nearly 800% increase. Additionally, data from Unite Hospitality shows that consumers pay an average of 73% more for celebrity-endorsed drinks, highlighting the lucrative nature of the market.
Kendall Jenner’s 818 Tequila topped the rankings with a score of 95.4. The brand, which has over 1.2 million Instagram followers, generates an average of 76,150 Google searches per month in the US. Jenner launched the tequila in 2021, naming it after her hometown’s area code. Despite its success, the brand has faced controversy, including accusations of cultural appropriation and trademark disputes.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s Teremana Tequila holds the second position, scoring 94.8. Teremana has 780,000 Instagram followers and averages 107,092 monthly searches globally. Launched in early 2020, the tequila is now the fastest-growing tequila brand, selling over one million cases annually.
Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder’s Brother’s Bond Bourbon ranks third with a score of 92.9. The bourbon boasts 1.9 million Instagram followers and receives an average of 25,328 Google searches per month. Created as a tribute to their friendship from their time on The Vampire Diaries, the brand has gained substantial popularity.
George Clooney’s Casamigos Tequila holds the fourth spot with a score of 90.5. Casamigos has 272,000 Instagram followers and garners the highest number of Google searches—133,975 per month in the US. Developed in 2013 with Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman, Casamigos has become a leading name in celebrity spirits.
Ryan Reynolds’ Aviation Gin rounds out the top five with a score of 84.8. The gin, which Reynolds acquired a stake in 2018, has 345,000 Instagram followers and averages 26,808 monthly searches. Reynolds’ involvement has significantly boosted the brand’s profile.

Seventh is Conor McGregor’s Proper No. Twelve Whiskey, with an index score of 82.3. The brand has an Instagram following of 710,215 and generates an average of 6,460 Google searches per month. McGregor named his product in homage to his hometown in Dublin and launched it in 2018.
Kevin Hart’s Gran Coramino Cristalino Tequila ranks eighth with an index score of 80.7. The liquor has 128,000 Instagram followers and averages 32,133 Google searches monthly. Launched by Hart in 2022, Gran Coramino is described as an ultra-premium tequila.
Mark Wahlberg’s Flecha Azul Tequila follows in ninth place with a score of 79.7. Kenny Chesney’s Blue Chair Bay Rum completes the top ten with an index score of 78.5.
